The healthcare sector is facing a significant demand surge, with a shortage of Allied Health Professionals. Research shows a need for approximately 1.83 million professionals, but only about 890,000 are currently available, creating a shortfall of around 900,000. Allied Health is now the second largest workforce in healthcare after nursing, providing essential services globally. The ongoing shortage of qualified healthcare providers is expected to continue due to factors like an aging population and increased health awareness, particularly among those over 50, who typically face more health issues.
