>Internships are structured, supervised learning experiences in a professional environment that enable students to gain essential work experience in their chosen field. Typically, internships require a minimum of 120 hours, with at least 10 hours per week during the fall and spring semesters, and can be part-time or full-time during the summer.
>Cooperative education (co-op) positions are paid roles that necessitate students to alternate between full-time work and full-time academic study for at least two semesters. While many students are offered full-time employment with the organization after graduation, this is not guaranteed. For co-ops are ,some students express interest in them as practical learning experiences. If you are considering a co-op, it is advisable to consult with one of our Internship Heads to create a structure that best suits our students' needs.
